Meet “Oll-E”. Danny’s new best friend arrived the other day, thanks to daddy and the ever-popular Toys-R-Us. The two of them went out to see the movie and for the first time in MANY movie adventures, Danny absolutely loved it! We have talked endlessly about the movie, Danny explaining to me exactly what “Oll-E” does (since of course I didn’t get invited to this event) ; ) He is slowly learning how to make his new friend into a box by himself - much to our relief, you can only do it so many times without wanting to scream.
We are enjoying and savoring our last days with this big boy, before the dynamics of our family change completely. He asks every day if Baby Luke is coming out tonight. Oh how I wish I could say YES! But alas, we just pray at night before bed that Jesus will allow us to meet Luke soon. We can not wait to see Danny’s reaction to this long-awaited addition and hope the adjustment is a smooth one. Soon, we hope, soon! : )
