Happy, happy birthday little friend! We had such a fun time celebrating with lots of Jack’s family and friends yesterday - Danny especially enjoyed the giant jump house and yummy birthday cake! It was really neat getting to experience the traditional Korean celebration - I am pretty sure it was determined Mister Jack will be a judge one day, or was it a professional golfer? I know he really enjoyed those noodles, so a long life he shall have! : ) We had a blast and always enjoy time with the Lee family, our adopted second-family. Can I not attend any event without my camera? No way. Here are a few of my faves…

Can’t have photos from a Lee family event without the ever precious Stoli-dog.

Meet baby Luke’s dinosaur - Big, Bad, Shark-Tooth (lovingly named by Danny). We headed to Build-a-Bear today to create something special for Danny’s baby brother. Of course he picked a green dinosaur, and although they had some sweet lullaby type of music, a heartbeat sound, or a record-your-own-voice button - Dannyboy chose a vicious sounding ROAR. He has no idea just how soothing this will be to a newborn ; ) but it was sweet none the less. Here are a few photos from our adventure today.

Danny was very sweet, and insisted that ‘BBST’ wear one of baby Luke’s diapers (size 2) and he shared his precious blankie with him as he “took a nap” in the bassinet.

Pulling my camera back out for a more intentional shoot is like - putting on a comfy pair of sweats that the laundry has hidden from you for months. Ah, it felt SO GOOD to get out there… just me, my camera, and an adorable subject. I am technically on maternity leave from photography, but when your sisters visit from 3000 miles away, you can’t just not do a photo session - or two, or three, or four : ) So look out, as long as Mister Luke stays put for a bit there will be many more snippets to come of my darling Sade & Ab. So now I give you a glimpse into our sunset session, Sade - 16 years old.

So tomorrow I am officially OFF bedrest. Woo hoo!
I technically cheated, I’ll admit. The weather was too nice, and I was
itching to walk! So I present you with a little tribute to my first
intentional walk in 10 weeks. Thanks Sade for capturing it for me ; )

Do you see anything wrong with this picture?

Here is Danny’s reaction when I asked him why the dinos were
eating ‘dino chickens’… I guess he thought it was funny : )

My sweet natured little boy is three & a half. He adores his mama and loves to wrestle and “play race” with daddy. His cars are his best friends and he would watch movies all day if we let him. He wakes me bright and early ready to eat, and makes sure I say good morning to his basket of best friends. Strawberry-milk is his fave and he lights up at the mention of anyone offering to color with him. His life as he knows it is about to change - but we can only hope and pray that these two little boys will be closer than close, and have lots of loves and lots of fun.

This girl is absolutely beautiful and I am proud to call her sister.

One of the coolest inventions yet to come from one of my fave places of all time, Starbucks.
Look closely. To the naked eye it is simply the typical venti iced drink cup, ya? Nope : ) It is the new insulated, re-usable cup Starbucks came out with. In fact I have yet to see it sold around here - I “special ordered” mine from Florida (or rather had my sister get me one while she was there, wink wink). Coolest part about it? A whopping .10c off of your drink every time you re-fill. So, although it may take 130 drinks to ‘pay’ for this totally awesome cup - I say it’s well worth it. I simply, just, absolutely, love it. (Oh the things that make me happy these days.)

Our dear friend Madison turned four this last week and Danny was thrilled to help her celebrate with a morning full of swimming! Well, the girls swam, Danny sort of… didn’t : ) He isn’t quite a fan of “big pools” but had a blast none the less! Happy, happy Birthday Maddie!
This was tons of fun. Thank you, thank you dear friend [s] shalina for doing these -
I will truly treasure them. 3rd trimester - June 2008.
