So today marks a big milestone - we are officially in the 3rd trimester! Yipee! just 10 more weeks until Luke is considered “full term”. All of the sudden it seems so close. All of the sudden I can’t sleep and feel like crap. All of the sudden I am really, really, really stressed about the lack of preparation.
Braxton Hicks are still a beast. I think I did too much over the weekend and am now suffering. So today, we sit, and I drink water, and we sit, and I drink water. Danny loves it because it means lots of Scooby-doo watching : )
So some good friends have offered to throw me a shower, isn’t that sweet? I am a firm believer that every baby should be ‘celebrated’ but wasn’t sure if you ‘celebrate’ your second boy. As it turns out, you do! When Jaime asked me to start registering I sort of laughed thinking oh we don’t need anything. We have seven, yes seven bins of boy clothes in the garage so we certainly don’t need ANYMORE of those. However I started thinking about some of the more important things we actually don’t have - car seat, stroller etc. I told her I would just start a little registry here on our blog. Little turned into bigger and soon I found myself drooling over so many “fun things” I didn’t have with Danny. So there you have it. A few essentials and then a few more things I simply must have. When oh when will that tax money come? : )
