I learned to crochet, Christmas 2005. Since I have created mounds of scarves, and one very awkward looking blanket for a friend’s Christmas gift one year. I have been waiting for, I’m not sure what exactly, I guess the right moment - to start a blanket for my precious unborn son. Today was that day. With tummies full of pizza, Danny and I ventured out to the fabric store in search of the perfect yarn. Turns out there is a new all natural line by Bernat. Danny and I went with a Bamboo blend. It is oh, so soft and creamy as can be. Can’t wait to get started… stay tuned for updates on my newest project, baby Luke’s blanket.
