Some days are so laid back, Danny and I stay in our pjs for hours. Others are go, go, go - with barely any down time. When Dannyboy goes down for his nap, it’s as if the angels are singing. It is MY time, and I cherish it so… especially knowing I have only a few more months of this blissful 2-3 hour period. Channel 856 is my calm amidst some stormy days. I turn it on, no one asking for Diego or Backyardigans - no one flipping between ESPN and Comedy Central. As much as I love the two (three) guys in my life, there really isn’t anything better than the soothing sounds of channel 856. I can scrap to it, edit to it, read peacefully with it playing in the background. I hope you too have a “channel”, some sort of escape from the business of your day. The littlest things in life are what truly make a difference. I leave you with this quote I happened upon recently.
